Overview
Delitebook is an education platform built for students, teachers and district education offices in Bangladesh. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Account information — name, email, phone, role (student, teacher, admin), school and district when you register.
- Learning activity — exams taken, scores, video watch progress and study-planner entries so we can show your progress.
- Device data — browser type, IP address and access time for security and analytics.
How We Use Information
- To run the exams, quizzes, video library and dashboards you interact with.
- To generate certificates, teacher IDs and progress reports on your request.
- To improve the platform — identify weak topics and adjust content difficulty.
- To send you exam schedules, notices and important service updates.
How We Protect Your Data
Passwords are hashed, connections are HTTPS-only, and access to sensitive records is role-gated. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Sharing
We only share data with your district or upazila education office when you are enrolled under them, or when required by law. Aggregated, anonymised analytics may be published in public reports.
Your Rights
- See what we hold about you from the Profile → Settings screen.
- Correct any incorrect information through Edit Profile.
- Request deletion of your account by writing to support.
